The minister tells the story about an old man who had recently died, aged about 90. A few months before he died he got a new set of teeth which he used to 'excellent purpose' until almost his last breath! He had been married four times and had children with each wife. His last child was baptised about a year before his death giving him "the cled score" or 21 children, for which he 'expressed his thankfulness to his maker'. |
