From south to north.

Parton

Balmalellan

New Galloway

Dalry (St John's Town of Dalry or Clachan Dalry)

Carsphairn

and to the east of Balmaclellan

Corsock

These are amongs the most old-fashioned and pretty looking villages you will come across anywhere in Scotland.

They are all surrounded by farms and farmlands, green pastures, woodlands including a number of ancient woodlands.
